This week, we here at "SENTIENT" wanted to tell you about the Origin of the company. Owner and founder Stephen Williams got the idea from the way in which we give the SK8board life. In turn the Sk8board gives us a life and culture, which helps us live, SK8, learn and Evolve. SENTIENT SK8boards is also a Dedication to all of skateboarding's past, present & future.
We would also like to share with you the behind the scenes work that created the Birth series. Our first series is more than just an Art project with our no gimmicks unique graphic style. Four gifted Artists helped complete our first series. Old friend Seth lockard created the Good & Evil
Goddesses, which was our first board out. He also helped with the coloring of the B-happy graphic. Both designs are on T shirts as well, available to buy securely on our Myspacesite. 618 LAB Member Jorge Coya has done all of our cropping & coloring for images and Boards.
Coworker Trevor Kaopua drew the PHARAOH and has more boards in the works, so stay tuned. STL team member Ben Goeke of Goekeco is helping out with sceening some prototype T shirts that may be released down the line. Social justice attorney, Ingrid Brostrom, is helping us out with legal and financial guidance when she is not crusading against corrupt government agencies and evil corporations. Last, but not least, the Head Honcho, Main Art Director stephen--All graphics designed by yours truly. Much Props to all who have helped and all Involved.
